The Perfect Clay Mask

If you have big pores like I do, you know how much of a pain in the ass it is to keep your skin bright & clear everyday. Putting on make up alone causes your pores to clog which can lead to blackheads….& those are the WORST! Until someone suggested something to me. The Aztec Secret Indian Clay Mask is uh-mazingg. This stuff really works & I swear by it. I’ve been using it for the past two years & I still have the same tub of clay mask because a little goes a loong way. Here are some things you need for the ultimate clay mask experience:

  1. The Aztec Clay Mask
  2. Briggs Apple Cider Vinegar (or you can use water but the vinegar really gets in there)
  3. A Plastic Bowl & Spoon
  4. A Face Mask Brush

Make sure to use a plastic bowl & spoon because it messes up the electric charge in the clay which is what draws out the gunk in your pores!

Step 1: Scoop some of the clay out & place it into your plastic bowl.

Step 2: Pour in your water or Apple Cider. Try to pour the same amount of liquid as clay in the bowl to have a smooth but thick consistency. Leave no clay or liquid unmixed!

Step 3: Grab your mask brush & smooth on a thin layer of mask all over your skin.

Step 4: Leave it on for about 15-20 minutes. Let it sit until all areas have dried out. The mask might start to crack so don’t be alarmed! Its normal.

Step 5: When your ready to wash it off take a wash clothe & run it under warm water & use it to gently remove the mask from your face.

Step 6: Once your face is all clear run some water over it to make sure all the residue is gone. Your face might be bright red but don’t worry it will fade!! To help sooth your skin afterwards apply some moisturizer to help the redness.

Try to do this once a week to get the best results!
